Elizabeth is a Family Finance and Property barrister at Parklane Plowden Chambers, Leeds and also practises from 1GC Family Law, Lincoln’s Inn Fields, London. She specialises in all disputes concerning family property, finance and cohabitation.
She is an Accredited Civil and Commercial Mediator (ADR Group).
Elizabeth is a member of the Family Law Bar Association and the Chancery Bar Association. She was called to the Bar in 1998 having studied law at Selwyn College, Cambridge.

Elizabeth has been a barrister for 22 years with a back ground in family and chancery matters. Her work involves issues arising out of property disputes between family members, financial remedy cases arising from divorce and cohabitation cases which often involve applications under the Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act 1996 (TOLATA).
As a barrister her work involves advising clients either in writing or in conference. She drafts pleadings for Court and prepare court documents such as applications. Elizabeth represents clients at all court levels including the Family Court, County Court, the Business and Property Courts, the High Court and Court of Appeal.
The law in relation to family property and cohabitation often includes both family and civil law principles and is sometimes regarded as complex and in need of reform.
