I have been a barrister for 21 years with a back ground in civil, family and chancery matters. My work involves issues arising out of property disputes between family members, financial remedy cases arising from divorce (formerly known as “ancillary relief”) and cohabitation cases which often involve applications under the Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act 1996 (TOLATA).
As a barrister my work involves advising clients either in writing or in conference. I draft pleadings for Court and prepare court documents such as applications. I represent clients at all court levels including the Family Court, County Court, the Business and Property Courts, the High Court and Court of Appeal.
The law in relation to family property and cohabitation often includes both family and civil law principles and is sometimes regarded as complex and in need of reform.
With my experience and expertise I can help you to resolve your dispute.
I practice from Parklane Plowden Chambers in Leeds and also 1GC Family Law, Lincoln’s Inn Fields, London. I am happy to accept instructions through either set of Chambers at your convenience.
