I am regularly invited to speak to both solicitors and barristers. I often go to individual firms of solicitors (including, for example, Irwin Mitchell and Stowe Family Law) to speak to them about the law relating to cohabitation and family finance and property disputes.
I have also been invited to speak at national conferences on the subject.
Examples of the seminars that I have delivered are:
April 2012: Guest speaker at the FLBA North Eastern Circuit Annual Conference on Cohabitation Law.
September 2012: Speaker at Property law seminar with Robert Sterling, former Head of St. James’s Chambers, Manchester.
October 2013: Guest speaker at the Family Law Bar Association at the London School of Economics.
April 2015: Speaker at Middle Temple on Costs (1 Garden Court)
November 2015: Speaker at Middle Temple on Cohabitation (1 Garden Court)
May 2016: Speaker at the Matrimonial Finance Conference, Manchester. Chair: Marilyn Stowe. Organised by The White Paper Conference Company.
